Oxford Conversations Brunches

We are organising six relaxed brunches in May and June with a guest speaker. Speakers are Oxonians living locally who are leading some very interesting projects! So, how about joining us for a tasty brunch (10am - 12pm) while having a stimulating conversation at the lido?Brunch

The Lido restaurant was featured recently on BBC2 as one of Bristol's best places to eat! Spaces are limited as we can only reserve a table for six to eight people. We would love to host you, so please let us know you are coming. Better still, please think about volunteering as a guest speaker as we hope to host another brunch series in the autumn.

Saturday 7 May Using plants and microalgae to clean our rivers (Ana Castro-Castellon, LMH, 2012, Chemical Engineering)
Sat 14 May Maverick poetry for children and adults including a few readings (Jonathan Hope, ChCh, 1989, English Studies)
Sat 21 May How I became a translator and other (ad)ventures (Lynn Urch, St Anne's, 1995, PGCE Modern Languages)
Sat 28 May How I got involved in running a hospitality venue for the Glastonbury Festival (Matthew McKaig, ChCh, 1983, Anthropology)
Sat 4 June No brunch (Jubilee Weekend)
Sat 11 June Transformational power of mentoring to help school students progress (Hetty Brown, St Edmund Hall, 1998, English Literature and Language)
Sat 18 June Building collaboration and communities from choirs to politics (Nic Pillow, Oriel, 1989, DPhil Engineering and Computer Science)
