We were pleased to invite members and guests to our last event of the year – a themed wine tasting class. The tasting was themed "Europe vs.the Rest of the World" and led by qualified wine instructor Ian Abrahams. Ian worked as a Wine Guide for John Harvey & Sons and now runs Wine Appreciation Classes at the Stoke Lodge Adult Learning Centre and other venues.
We blind tasted four pairs of similar wines with one of each pair being from Europe and the other from the Rest of the World. In a tight competition, the Rest of the World won.
We thank everyone for coming!
